Mental Health Talk
The Physical and Mental Health Committee of The Mobile Alumnae Chapter will be partnering with The Mingo Matters Foundation to sponsor "Let’s Talk About It: A Discussion About Mental Health in Our Community." This event will be held on December 9, 2023 from 3:00 pm-4:30 pm at the Nazaree Full Gospel Church.
A wealth of information will be provided by a variety of mental health professionals and advocates to include our very own Physical/Mental Health Co-Chair and Executive Director of The Mingo Matters Foundation, Eunice Mingo, LPC-S, MAC, NCC as well as the President of NAMI- Mobile, Tasha Jones, DNP, PMHNP, A-GNP-C.

The Magical Christmas Toy Drive
Through the gift of a new toy or book, Marine Toys for Tots programs bring the joy of Christmas and send a message of hope to all disadvantaged children. Every Child should experience the joy of Christmas morning. Donations can be dropped off at the Community Life and Development Center on December 9, 2023 from 2 pm to 4 pm.

Every year, hundreds of World AIDS Day events take place across the world to raise awareness and show support for people living with HIV. The world can end AIDS, with communities leading the way.
Making Strides of South Alabama
The Mobile Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta, Inc. supports Making Strides Against Breast Cancer which unites all communities, companies and individuals across the country in the fight to end breast cancer. Red Goes Pink!
Red Goes Pink Tea for Breast Cancer Awareness
Please join the Mobile Alumnae Chapter for our "Red Goes Pink Breast Cancer Awareness Tea". The guest speakers are Drs. Royshanda Smith and Sharon Coaxum, M.D., OBGYN. This event is OPEN TO THE PUBLIC. The subscription is $25. Payment can be made at ACCEL Academy on October 11th and 19th from 4PM to 6PM. Payment can also be mailed to the chapter's post office box at Mobile Alumnae Chapter P.O. Box 2313 Mobile, Alabama 36652. Payment must be mailed no later than October 15th.
